We all know that keys to a great website is to change your content, blog, or add someghing to your home page like coupons or special offers. However you do it, you must let Google and Yahoo know your page is alive!
One way that is taking hold of small business owners is the utilization of QR Codes. QR Codes are getting to be a great way to get people to come to your website or special offer on your website. That’s all the consumer needs is a smartphone, and today, who doesn’t have a smart phone.
In the following article we will try to explain what a QR code is and how it can positevely affect your small business.
First of all this is what a QR code looks like:
QR is short for Quick Response (they can be read quickly by a cell phone or tablet). They are used to take a piece of information from a transitory media and put it in to your cell phone. You will see QR Codes on websites, newspaper print, billboard advertisements, and even inside a store. Basically you scan or take a picture of the code, and your smartphone knows how to read the programming behind it. Once your smartphone gets that code, you will be transferred to a company’s website showing a special or giving discounts, transferred to facebook to “like” the company, or simply be able to utilize a coupon.
How does the cell phone read the code?
The cell phone needs a QR code reader, you can buy an app for them if you have Iphones or Android phones or tablets.
